Exploring Masjidi Baland
Today it was third day of my practical lessons and during my trip I go to Masjidi Baland with my group mates and with my lovely teacher, Mohichehra Temirovna.
Masjidi Baland is one of the most famous buildings in Bukhara. The Baland mosque , which means the "upper mosque", is a historical mosque in the ancient city of Bukhara, Uzbekistan. Registered as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO along with the whole of the historic old town, this small mosque was built at the beginning of the 16th century in the southern part of the city.
Today we had guests from Us and England. With them we watched Masjidi Baland and shared informations about it.
I liked both interior and exterior design of Masjidi Baland. The architectures used natural materials to design the mosque. When I entered the mosque, a special silence enveloped my soul. And the books inside were a source of history for me, and they seemed shine.
Masjidi Baland has survived to this day because it was built so solidly. During watching the mosque, I realized that the Masjidi Baland is not only a place for praying but also a place that pleases eyes. I learnt interesting informations about the Masjidi Baland for myself.
Today I discovered another place I've never seen before and learned some new things about history of Bukhara, so I'm grateful for today...!💖
